& HOW IT'S USED
PERSONAL COMMUNICATION
Chat messages sent on Watch Party are stored for a maximum of 12 hours after "duration of the party" - a party is defined as ongoing as long as it is being updated, either by sending messages or updating the player.
Video or voice calls are not saved on or sent through Watch Party servers - this feature is enabled by the use of Dolby Voxeet SDK, and all traffic is maintained on their respective backend.
USER ACTIVITY
Watch Party monitors some click, and keystrokes as is required for capturing pause / play events to enable syncing of video playback. Watch Party may block certain keystrokes if needed to aid in its proper functionality.
USER PERSONAL INFORMATION
No personally indentifiable information or user data is collected through Watch Party. While a 'Name' field is required when creating or joining a party, the name is not required to be the user's legal name - this field follows automatic deletion criteria as listed under the Personal Communication section. Watch Party only uses Google Analytics on it's websites (listed below) to drive website traffic and traction.
